The model
Read full Citroën C4 reviewThe Citroën C4 is very temptingly priced for a coupé SUV, while comfort and refinement also impress. On the minus side, you pay for its cushiness with roly-poly handling and there are more practical cars and SUVs available. Our recommended engine is the PureTech 130 petrol and mid-spec Plus is our favourite trim.
The trim
See full equipmentIf you want all the bells and whistles, Max is the trim for you. It adds lots of extra goodies, including an upgraded eight-speaker stereo system, blind-spot monitoring, front parking sensors, keyless entry and start, and heated front seats.
The engine
See full engine specsThe e-C4 has a 50kWh battery, although its usable battery is only 45kWh. That makes it a bit smaller than many of its rivals and is why the official 211-mile range is a disappointing 139 miles in the real world. It’s not that quick, either, with a tested 0-60mph time of 9.0sec, which is absolutely fine around town but acceleration really starts to tail off between 50-70mph – bear that in mind if you do a lot of motorway driving.
