If, however, you want the sportiest T-Roc (not including the T-Roc R), R-Line trim adds sportier R-Line styling, sports seats, stiffer sports suspension, switchable driver profiles and heated front seats.
The engine
See full engine specsReserved for the Style and R-Line trim levels, the most powerful T-Roc engine (outside of the hot T-Roc R) is this 187bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine. Boasting a 0-62mph sprint time of just 6.8sec, it’s no slouch and even beats the top-spec Audi Q2 Vorsprung 35 TFSI S Tronic’s time over the same sprint. It also comes with VW’s 4Motion four-wheel drive system, so you’ll have added confidence when the weather turns wet or icy. It’ll set you back a fair bit more than our chosen engine though, and that version is dynamic enough, so it’s hard for us to recommend it.
