The model
Read full Suzuki S-Cross reviewThe S-Cross certainly seems like good value for money in our preferred 1.4-litre engine choice. It’s gutsy and efficient, can be had with a generous list of standard kit, plus it has a good-sized boot compared with the 1.5 hybrid. It’s a shame, though, that the infotainment system is so slow and the interior quality is uninspiring.
The trim
See full equipmentThe entry-level trim is our pick of the range, and comes with plenty of standard equipment, including heated front seats, front and rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, roof rails, an adjustable boot floor, a 7in touchscreen infotainment system and blind-spot monitoring.
The engine
See full engine specsMild hybrid is strong enough for normal driving around town and on the motorway, but all the power is lower down the rev range so there’s no reward for holding on to gears and thrashing it.
