The model
Read full Renault Rafale reviewThe Renault Rafale is a good addition to the coupé SUV class, and impresses when it comes to standard equipment, interior quality and efficiency. It’s expensive though, and not as good to drive or as comfortable riding as its rivals.
The trim
See full equipmentWhile this might be the current entry-level trim, it comes with loads of standard kit. Highlights include 20in alloy wheels, 6-way electrically adjustable seats with lumbar support and massage function, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a heated windscreen and matrix LED headlights.
The engine
See full engine specsCombining a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine with two electric motors, the Full Hybrid engine gives you plenty of oomph for everyday driving, getting you from 0-62mph faster than the Peugeot 408 Hybrid. It should also be efficient, managing up to 60.1mpg, but its automatic gearbox can be quite slow to change gears though.
