Ford Ka concept revealed
* Ford shows off concept version of face-lifted Ka city car * Takes on Ford's new design ethos * Production version not expected for around two years...
A concept version of a new-look Ford Ka has been revealed, with the city car taking on the company's new styling.
The Ka concept was revealed in Brazil, the only market that has confirmed it will definitely take the new city car. However, the company's One Ford policy means it is expected to offer the model in the UK as well.
Although Brazil is likely to get the new Ka in 2014, if it does come to the UK, it isn't expected to go on sale for around two years, with several core models due from the company in the meantime.
The Ka concept features the company's new trapezoidal grille, which has already appeared on models like the Fiesta and Focus.
Few details have been revealed about the refreshed Ka's interior, but it is said to offer Ford's Sync infotainment system and a central docking station for phones and music players.
The Ford Ka concept is the second car to be developed by Ford in Brazil, following on from the Ford Ecosport that is set to launch in the UK in 2014.
