Ford extends Ka range
* Ford Ka range revised * New trims, more equipment * Start point of range over 350 higher...
A year after Ford launched the latest Ka, the company has added new versions and loaded the existing models with more equipment.
As before, the range offers the choice of just 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel engines, but the trims have been revised. Base Studio now gets rear head restraints, for example, while Edge replaces Style and includes air-conditioning as standard.
Meanwhile, Zetec adds a flexible accessory holder and a leather-trimmed steering wheel, while range-topping Titanium models get alloy wheels, chrome detailing, climate control and an upgraded stereo.
New 'individual' models
Finally, four new 'Individual' models join the range as replacements for the old option packs. Grand Prix, Digital, Tattoo and Tattoo Premium all have alloy wheels, but also add bespoke interiors and a series of unique features.
Prices for the range now start at 9395 an increase of more than 350 and top out at 12,395 for a 1.3 TDCi Titanium. The Individual models, which are only available with the petrol engine, all cost between 11,000 and 12,000.
