Lexus UX 250h 2.0 F-Sport 5dr CVT [Takumi Pack] Review

The model
Read full Lexus UX reviewThe Lexus UX is an interesting alternative to established premium family SUVs, with distinctive looks and a very efficient hybrid system. However, it's only the promise of good fuel economy, cheap company car tax and Lexus's excellent reliability that appeal. The driving experience is so-so, and practicality is poor for a family SUV. As a result, it's impossible to recommend it over a Volvo XC40.
The trim
See full equipmentThe standalone F-Sport trim gives you the same amount of kit as F-Sport Design, but adds adaptive suspension. You also get the larger infotainment screen offered with F-Sport Design Tech.
The engine
See full engine specsThe entry-level engine option in the UX is the 250h hybrid. It combines a 2.0-litre petrol engine with an electric motor to produce 181bhp. It’s not the quickest set-up, but it is smooth and quiet at low speeds. The engine is noticeable as you accelerate because of the flared revs caused by the CVT automatic gearbox.
