The Kia EV6 is a brilliant electric car with a long range and the ability to charge up very quickly. It’s also huge in the back and good to drive. The cheaper rear-wheel-drive versions make more financial sense than the faster all-wheel-drive models, and we think entry-level Air trim offers the best value.

The mid-level GT-Line trim gives the EV6 some slightly sportier styling touches, along with tinted windows and a clever device that allows the charging port to double as a 3.5kW three-pin plug socket. There's not much reason to recommend it ahead of Horizon trim though.

This pricier dual-motor version has a second electric motor powering the front wheels, boosting power to 321bhp and giving acceleration that’s a match for the Tesla Model Y Long Range. It isn’t cheap, though, and range is slightly worse than in the RWD versions.
