The model
Read full Kia EV6 reviewThe Kia EV6 is a brilliant electric car with a long range and the ability to charge up very quickly. It’s also huge in the back and good to drive. The cheaper rear-wheel-drive versions make more financial sense than the faster all-wheel-drive models, and we think entry-level Air trim offers the best value.
The trim
See full equipmentEven the entry-level Air trim comes pretty well equipped, giving you standard kit that includes 19in alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights, heated door mirrors, heated front seats with adjustable lumbar support for the driver, a heated steering wheel, vegan leather upholstery, a 12.3in touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone mirroring, dual-zone air conditioning, rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera.
The engine
See full engine specsCheaper RWD models have a single 226bhp electric motor driving the rear wheels, giving performance that’s decent rather than (ahem) electric. In our tests this version managed 0-60mph in 6.9 seconds. The official range is up to 328 miles on a full charge, but 230-270 miles in real world driving is more realistic.
