Cars available now

The Genesis GV70 has a lot going for it, with competitive pricing, a long warranty, lots of equipment and one of the most luxurious interiors in the family SUV class. It's not as rounded as the Audi Q5, but it's still a convincing left-field choice. We recommend the smooth but punchy 2.5-litre petrol engine with Sport trim.

Entry-level Premium is surprisingly good value for money as it gets dual-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, a leather interior and 19in alloy wheels as standard.

Feeding 300bhp to all four wheels, the 2.5T petrol is certainly quick and gets you from 0-62mph in 6.1 seconds, matching the Audi Q5 45 TFSI. Performance at low and mid revs is good but you’ll find that you have to work the engine quite hard to get the best out of it, causing a fair amount of engine noise.
