Find your perfect M4

Cars available now

Not only is the M4 staggeringly quick in a straight line, but it’s also one of the most visceral and engaging performance cars we’ve tested to date. We reckon, for keen drivers, the M’s broad performance envelope places it ahead of rivals, while the four-wheel-drive version bolsters its all-weather usability. Factor in its beautiful interior, impressive levels of refinement and a pair of usable back seats, and it’s a class act.

The CSL gets the same twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre, six-cylinder petrol engine as the regular M4, but it's been fettled to produce an extra 39bhp, taking the total output to 542bhp. With drive going to the rear wheels only (if you want an all-wheel drive M4, stick with the regular version), the 0-62mph is an impressive 3.7sec.
