The Cowley plant in Oxford has just hosted the global unveiling of the all-new Mini. The British-built hatch has been a massive success since the brand was resurrected in 2001. The new car remains true to Mini's design DNA but also gets a cabin that feels even more upmarket. It's sure to become a very common sight on Britain's roads.

Mini First

Entry-level First trim was added to the Mini range in 2009. It's less powerful than the One and the Cooper versions and does without some niceties such as air-conditioning and alloy wheels. It's still good to drive, though, and this '10/10 car with 23,000 miles on the clock is a bargain at £7995.

Mini One

The Mini One is fun to drive and cheap to run, averaging 53.3mpg. This metallic blue version is the cheapest model in the classifieds. It's on a 57-plate and has done 71,000 miles. You can buy it for just £6000.

Mini One D

One D models are the most fuel efficient in the Mini range. This '10/60 car averages an impressive 74.3mpg and emits 99g/km of CO2 making it cheap to run and tax. This car has covered just 8000 miles and is on sale for £10,000.

Mini Cooper

Cooper models offer loads of thrills. The 1.6-litre petrol engines powers the Mini to 62mph in 9.2 seconds but is still surprisingly economical, averaging 52.3mpg. This 10-plate car is being sold for £8990 and has done 33,000 miles.

Mini Cooper D

This is the cheapest diesel model in our listings and it's a Cooper D version which is more powerful than the One D and has a more generous specification. It's on an 08-plate and has covered 55,000 miles. It's being marketed for £8111.
