The UK's cheapest new cars revealed
Looking for the most affordable way into a new car? These are the 10 cheapest new cars on sale in the UK...
The Dacia Sandero, often hailed as Britain's cheapest new car, is now £1000 more expensive.
A recent rise takes the Sandero's entry-level price to £6995, and parent company Renault says it's because of a realignment to the Sandero range. The price gap between the Access and higher ranking Ambience, which gets extras such as DAB radio, air conditioning and electric front windows, had grown to £1400 since 2013, but the new pricing sees the gap shrink to £800.
If you're looking for cheap motoring choices other than the Sandero, though, we've rounded up 10 of the UK's cheapest new cars, so look through the following slides to find out how you can get a new car without breaking the bank – in fact, none of these choices will cost you more than £9500.
In each case we've given you the car's list price, our Target Price (which is the most we think you should pay) and our best deal price from What Car? New Car Buying.
