How much will it cost?
The basic two-seater cab starts at 15,956, and a double cab XL is 19,809, but you'll need to pay extra for air-conditioning.
Most buyers who want to combine work duties with family-car chores will probably opt for the Double Cab in Thunder trim, which gets alloy wheels, parking sensors and a CD player with MP3 capability for a shade over 23,000.
Commercial buyers will be able to claim back VAT on the total price.
Verdict
The desirability of pick-up trucks is definitely on the wane, but the Ranger does what it is designed to do pretty well and is worth a look.
