Tesla Model S: exclusive reader test drive
* Drive the ground-breaking Tesla electric car * Exclusive What Car? event * Join us in west London on Monday, July 7...
The first UK owners of the Tesla Model S electric car took delivery of their vehicles earlier this month, but you don't need to wait for owners' feedback to find out what this ground-breaking EV is like to drive – because What Car? is offering readers to the chance to find out for themselves.
In an exclusive event based at Tesla's dealership in west London's Westfield shopping centre on Monday, July 7, What Car? readers will be invited to test drive a right-hand-drive version of the top-spec 85kW Performance Plus model – then tell What Car? what they think of the car.
The Model S is a landmark for electric cars, combining sleek styling, an ultra-modern interior, impressive performance and, of course, seriously low running costs. It's even quite practical: two optional rear-facing child seats for the boot turn the hatchback into a seven-seater. Prices start at £49,900 for the entry-level 60kw model.
If you're interested in driving the Tesla Model S get in touch. If you're successful, you'll be allotted a dedicated time-slot between 11am and 5pm to test drive the car and talk to What Car? journalists about your experience.
