Revised Toyota RAV4 on sale in spring
* New-look RAV4 unveiled at Geneva * Revised front end, new leather-and-Alcantara interior * Continues with 2.0 petrol and 2.2 diesel engines...
A new-look Toyota RAV4 will go on sale in the spring, Toyota has announced.
That car was unveiled at the Geneva Show, and has a revised front end with a wider grille. This has horizontal bars and chrome details and is flanked by new headlights, meaning the RAV4 shares the family look of the latest Auris, Verso and Avensis models.
The front bumper is also new, with further chrome detailing around the foglights and the bumper moulding. Topping off the revisions is new leather-and-Alcantara upholstery in the cabin.
The revised car will continue with the same range of 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, with a choice of manual and automatic transmissions. However, slight changes mean the lowest-emitting version puts out just 150g/km, dropping it into a lower band for company car tax.
Toyota will announce full details of the new ranges price and specification nearer the on-sale date.
