Renault launches I-Music editions

Renault has launched a new special-edition offering upgraded equipment, including MP3 player connectivity, on 11 of its models.

Called I-Music, the new edition is based on the entry-level Expression trim. All I-Music cars get air-conditioning, alloy wheels, front foglights, and brushed aluminium door mirrors.

The technical wizardry includes Bluetooth and Renault's Tunepoint MP3 connection, which allows drivers to control their MP3 player via the steering-wheel controls.

I-Music is available on all variants of the Clio, Modus, Kangoo, Megane and Scenic.

Engine choices and cost savings
Clio buyers can choose I-Music with the:
1.2-litre 75 TCe and 1.2 TCe 100 petrol engines or the 1.5-litre dCi 86 diesel engine. Prices start at 11,235, saving 600 compared with ordering the equipment separately.

For the Modus, I-Music is available with the 1.2-litre petrols and the 1.5-litre dCi 86 diesels, and on the Grand Modus, the 1.2-litre TCe 100. Prices start at 11,185, saving 600 on individually ordered kit.

Renault's Kangoo MPV offers I-Music trim with the 1.6-litre 8v petrol engine or 1.5-litre dCi 86 and dCi 106 diesels, saving 675 on separately ordered items.

Rear parking sensors join the equipment list for the Megane hatch, Coupe and Sport Tourer in I-Music trim saving up to 930 on ordering the items separately. It's available with 1.6-litre petrol and the 1.5-litre dCi 86 and dCi 106 diesel engines.

For Scenic and Grand Scenic buyers, the special edition also adds parking sensors. Prices start at 15,995, saving up to 750.

When can I buy one?
The I-Music range is available to order now, with first deliveries from December.
