8 June 2022 – Relaxing holiday
Shortly after the arrival of the Lexus NX, my family and I headed off in it for a break at Longleat Center Parcs, with this giving me a good chance to put its practicality to the test.
Fortunately, we managed to squeeze everything in we needed. And bar my son Callum chattering away in his child seat, there was little to disturb the peace.
In fact, the NX is so hushed and soothing that it wasn’t long before Callum was fast asleep.
Double glazed front side windows help, keeping wind noise to an absolute minimum. As does the fact that the electric range on a full charge has now climbed to an impressive 50 miles.
As a result, we arrived with enough in the battery to be able to deposit our luggage at our lodge in silence while not polluting the forest air.
We finished our trip with a visit to Longleat Safari Park, and again the NX was brilliant here. We were able to trundle through the enclosures without making any noise, meaning we could get up close to the lions and tigers and keep our little monkey in the back happy.
