The Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake is set to make its global debut at the Geneva motor show next week.
The high-performance estate car comes with the same 542bhp supercharged V8 petrol engine as the saloon XFR-S, and has the same 1675-litre load capacity as any other XF Sportbrake.
This engine is paired with Jaguar's eight-speed automatic gearbox, which can also be controlled using a pair of gearshift paddles on the steering wheel.
The XFR-S Sportbrake will travel from 0-62mph in 4.8 seconds and go on to a top speed of 186mph.
Jaguar has modifed the rear suspension to cope with the extra weight of the Sportbrake. The electronic differential and the stability control settings have also been tuned to accommodate the estate's extra bulk.
It also gets specially developed Pirelli tyres and a high-performance braking system.
Visually, the XFR-S Sportbrake gets several changes over the standard XF. It gets a redesigned front bumper and and aerodynamic splitter, extended side sills and rear bumper, and a carbonfibre diffuser at the rear to reduce lift.
The 20-inch alloy wheels can be specified in black, grey or standard finishes, and there are five body colours.
Inside, it gets sports seats with R-S logos and coloured stitching and carbon-effect leather on the seat bolsters and armrests.
The Jagaur XFR-S Sportbrake goes on public display at the Geneva motor show in March, and is available to order from April 1. Prices start at £82,495.
