DS and the rest

Citroen will use the new C4 as the basis for a second model in its premium DS range next year but unlike the smaller DS3, this one will have five doors rather than three and be more of a family-oriented luxury model instead of a sporty hatch.
It will still look like a semi-sporty SUV, though, with styling elements from the High Rider concept car that Citroen showed at the Geneva motor show earlier this year. It is expected to have a more extreme look than the C4, with a very steep rear roof and hatch that could limit passenger space. The DS4 will also be taller and shorter than the C4.
Power is expected to come from the stronger engines also used in the C4, including the diesels with the e-HDI stop-start feature. The car will go on sale a few months after the C4.
And the rest
Citroen will refresh the other members of the C4 family the five-seat Picasso and seven-seat Grand Picasso this autumn in preparation for the arrival of the new hatch.
There will be cosmetic tweaks, including the addition of the daytime running lights that become mandatory next February, while the diesels will get the e-HDI stop-start function to help trim fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. There are likely to be suspension and interior modifications, too.
