26 September 2022 – Sports, style and substance

When I was speccing up my Citroën Berlingo Van I was keen to avoid getting it in white. Why? Well, white is synonymous with vans – and not always for positive reasons – and I wanted to mark myself out from the crowd.

Icy White paintwork comes as standard on my Berlingo Van, but I went for Cumulus Grey, one of the three metallic options (which cost £400 extra). I’m glad I did: in combination with the black alloy wheels and bumpers of my van, I think it looks great.

It’s not just the colour, alloys and trim that make the van a stylish choice, though. The rear lights have a design flair to them, while the side air intakes around the front bumper lend it a sporty edge.

Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, but to me, my Berlingo manages to look good while still functioning as a great small van. It has both style and substance, and that's high praise indeed.
