The Porsche Cayenne is beautifully crafted inside, as is the Macan Electric. But while both of those are very nice in a ‘I bought the most expensive yacht in the Sunseeker catalogue’ kind of way, the Aston Martin DBX 707 takes things a step farther.
The DBX is far from ‘off the peg’. This is more like approaching a renowned boatbuilder and giving them a blank cheque. Aston Martin will build your DBX just how you want it, using whatever top-notch materials you fancy.
And because it would be no good if your yacht looked beautiful but was a pain to sail, Aston Martin has paid attention to where all the winches and sheets are placed. When you’re making the most of the DBX’s exceptional handling and performance, you don’t want to be distracted if you need to, say, adjust the interior temperature. Accordingly, you’ll find proper, physical controls for such adjustments, prominently sited where your fingertips can find them without taking your eyes off the road.
Admittedly, you might hear the occasional creak from the dashboard, but that doesn’t mean the DBX sports SUV is anything less than shipshape.
