The new Kia Soul goes on sale in the UK in April, and Kia has just released some price and trim details for the range.
This all-new model is based on the underpinnings from the Kia Cee'd, and is available as a 1.6-litre petrol or 1.6- turbocharged diesel. It will come in five trim levels. Prices are yet to be confirmed, should start from around £12,600.
Entry-level Start trim will be petrol-only, and feature 16-inch steel wheels, air-conditioning and DAB radio. Connect trim will come on both petrol and diesel cars and add 17-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth and a reversing camera.
Next up is Connect Plus, which is expected to be the best seller, accounting for 38% of sales. It gets sat-nav, an upgraded audio system and climate control, and will cost from around £16,000.
Mixx models add bigger 18-inch alloys and exterior upgrades, while range-topping Maxx, which will cost from around £20,000, adds a panormic roof, leather seats and keyless entry.
Based on the rest of Kia's range, diesel models are expected cost around £900 more than the petrol models. Kia's six-speed automatic gearbox - available with both engines - will cost an extra £1200.
